Charismatic Redemption Ministries(CRM) is a charismatic Pentecostal Christian church. It was formed as a fellowship of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, with the supreme desire to produce committed Christians who will devote themselves to the teaching of God’s word, prayer, and fellowship as found in Acts 2:42 and equip them to fulfill the great commission of Matthew 28:19–20. Looking toward Jesus is the standard of our faith.
In 2002, God gave Apostle Francis Adjei, the Founder and Senior Pastor of CRM, a vision to start a non-denominational church in the city of Accra (the capital of Ghana), which would spread the good news throughout the country and to the ends of the earth. CRM then Redeemed Church Int. was officially inaugurated as a church on Sunday, August 18th, 2002, at Aggrey Memorial School Kanda near GBC with eighteen people in attendance. It was the very first in Accra. This was a church that was driven by a unique worship experience: contemporary Bible-based music, strict adherence to time, excellence, simplicity, and the modesty of the church leadership, with Christ-centered teachings and programs.
The direction received by Apostle Francis Adjei was to reach out to every lost soul.
The church later moved from Kanda to pig farm where it relocated after ten years to its own permanent facility at Haatso Bohye Behind the Dukes filling Station. The construction of the current facility at Bohye Haatso with over hundreds members, commenced in August 2021, and on Sunday, October 17th, 2021, the church’s maiden service was held at this new church building by the grace of God.
Today, the CRM seeks to continue to be a model New Testament church, chosen to be a blessing to the nations of the world in Christ Jesus. This is demonstrated by speaking only blessing and only the truth, living to please Christ, loving in purity, practicing true faith, reaching the unsaved, giving to missions, and making Christ the center of our focus in all things.
